Sundays
Through His death, in our place and for our sins, Jesus has made a way for us to be reconciled with God. This gospel moves us from being enemies of God who have rebelled against Him, to being sons and daughters of God who have been adopted by Him. The gospel enables us to both confess that we are deeply flawed and to rejoice that we are deeply loved. That is glorious good news worth remembering and celebrating. That is what we gather to do on Sundays.
Our Sunday gatherings are an opportunity to encounter God. We come to the Father through Jesus the Son and by the power of the Holy Spirit. We come together to reflect and pray, to read Scripture and hear it taught, to express our faith through song, and to be renewed in our communion with God and with one another.
Here's what you can expect at our worship service.
Our services begin with a time to reflect and ready our hearts to gather before God. We sing songs to worship God and celebrate what He has done for us through Jesus. We read the Scriptures, teaching and learning from it as a community. We celebrate Communion as a community remembering Jesus. We sing some more songs and then conclude with a reminder that we are called by Jesus to love and serve our city. Our gathering usually ends with time to greet friends and meet new ones.
